Ammonia ( NH3)
Ammonia is a colorless flammable liquefied gas with a penetrating and suffocating odor. Ammonia is one of the oldest commercial refrigerants. It is also widely used in soil fertilization.
Ammonia is widely used in metal treatment operations such as nitriding, bright annealing, sintering, furnace brazing, and heat treatment. It also plays a role in extracting metals like copper, nickel, and molybdenum, and in the fabrication of silicon nitride.
Carbon Monoxide (CO)
Carbon monoxide is a flammable, odorless, colorless gas with a density heavier than air. Corrosive effects can occur due to the presence of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide traces, and moisture. The most common carbon monoxide production plants are “reformers” in which natural gas and steam react to produce CO and hydrogen.
Carbon monoxide is widely used in the chemical industry to produce esters, ketones, aldehydes, glycols, and phosgene, an important chemical intermediate.
Hydrocarbon

Hydrogen chloride (HCl)
Hydrogen chloride is a key material to promote and regenerate catalysts in the petrochemical industry and to add viscosity to oils. It is used to produce sulfuric chlorohydrin and synthetic rubber.
Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6)
Sulfur hexafluoride is primarily used as an insulating medium for a wide range of high voltage electrical and electronic equipment such as circuit breakers, switch gears and gas insulated transmission lines. It is also used for eye surgery in medical purposes and insulating windows in glass application.
Sulphur dioxide (SO2)
Sulfur dioxide is used in float glass production and florescent bulb manufacturing. It is also used as bleaching agent for oils and foods and preservative for beer & wine, canned & bottled foods and dried fruits in food & beverage applications.
